eGlass Theme is an easy theme for Xoops,derived from EXM System with a light appearance and an structure designed specially to facilitate browsing, reading and the info locating.

It is an standar theme, therefore only need to be upload to your web site and activate it. Requires no extra settings.

Features

• Left and right side blocks. We recommend using only one column of blocks giving much space to the core content, however the theme can perfectly handle a smaller space.
• Lower central blocks. If there is a lower central it will be displayed automatically.
• Navigation bar with modules. The navigation bar displays as links the installed modules, however editing the navbar.html file you gan get your own menu without loading the active modules.
• Site Name as logo. eGlass displays the configured name and the slogan site as a logo.
• Top search box. The header includes a field to search quickly from any page on the site  without reducing space with the search block.

We are very glad to announce the inmmediately availability of QuickPages 1.3.36 for Xoops and Common Utilities 2. This new module version has been completely port to Xoops and it is compatible with the previous version to EXM System.

QuickPages it is a module that allows the creation of static pages quicly and easily,so that your site may have information about services, contacts, history or any other document that you want to publish to inform your users. Also, QuickPages support friendly URLs, making it easier ,for your site visitors find the published information at QuickPages.

GUI has been simplied using the capacities so that the use of the module is easier than ever, taking into account that it was very easy to use.

Some of the features added in this version are the support to clone pages, so that you can create new documents from any existing, this could serve to take the format of a previously craeted page. Also added support for custom fields, allowing you to save additional data allong with pages that can then be used by other modules or topics.

Como ya les habíamos informado en otra ocasión, Common Utilities 2 trae aire nuevo a XOOPS y mejora sustancialmente su interfaz gráfica y funcionamiento. Todo esto sin tener que tocar el códio existente de XOOPS.

After a long time without activity and no news today we are back to continue with our projects and work and to restart things in the best way in this year, bring progress on Common Utilities for XOOPS.

Originally Common Utilities was a collection of classes and functions to enhance the development of modules of Red México, some of you probably remember in their first versions, there by XOOPS 2.0.10.

Now, we have transformed Common Utilities in a module, in addition to having the classes’ collection and functions that facilitate the development of modules, can replace and improve some XOOPS functions, besides bringing new potential in the design of themes, for both the GUI and for the design of the site.
